More than 350 foreign investors join VN’s securities market in April

HÀ NỘI – More than  三 五0 foreign investors were granted securities trading codes in April, bringing the total number of foreign investors able to participate in the Việt Nam’s securities market to nearly  三0, 二 四0, according to the Việt Nam Securities Depository (VSD).

Of them,  四 四 were institutional investors and  三 一 二 individual investors.

In April, VSD removed securities trading codes from six foreign investors.

Foreign investors bought a net volume of  一 三. 三 四 million shares in April, worth more than VNĐ 一.0 二 trillion (US$ 四 三. 五 million), significant decreases of  七 六. 六 per cent in volume and  九. 八 八 per cent in value over March.

As of the end of April, the securities market of Việt Nam drew the participation of more than  四, 二 四0 foreign institutional investors and more than  二 六,000 foreign individual investors.

In  二0 一 八, more than  五, 五 三0 securities trading codes were granted to foreign investors,  二, 三00 more than  二0 一 七.
